Below is a list of web-based organizations which WBS has utilized and recommends. If you're looking for ways to incorporate technology into your classroom, interested in the tools educators are using for their work, or simply intrigued by the evolution of the technosphere, these sites are for you.

• Portaportal

Portaportal is an online database that allows sharing of favorite bookmarks between students, teachers, administrators and anyone else who cares to share. Registration is free and easy. Check it out!


• Center for Interactive Learning and Collaboration

An awesome resource for connecting people via videoconference. Not the easiest interface, but don't let it scare you: there are many folks just like you out there.


• United Streaming

Membership Required, and well worth it. This enormous database provides a phenomenal amount of educational video content, categorized and previewed specifically for educators.


• Moodle

An opensource (that means Free) database software that allows the incorporation of forums, documents, grading, discussion groups, emails posts, and more.


• Vita-Learn

Vermont's very own technology and education organization. Look here for upcoming events, news and developments relative to technology in the Green Mountain State.


• Smart Technologies

Got a Smartboard? Go here for software, tutorials, updates, information, and networking.


• PacBell VideoConferencing Directory
  A searchable database for content providers. Check it out and add your school to the list so others can find you.
